Kiln Staff Photos....

When Kiln Director, Tom Fancis approached Naomi with an idea to take staff photos for The Kiln Gallery, Paddington,  he also asked her to join the team as their photographer.  Tom and Naomi set to work on an idea to illustrate the teams creativity while incorporating the feel of the old substation where Kiln is housed.  A concept was soon developed, props sourced and with the help of wardrobe stylist, Vicki Martin - what followed was the most fun you could possibly have of a photo shoot.

Australasian Housing Institute - Portrait Exhibition

Australasian Housing Institute's CEO, Joan Ferguson had a vision to put a face to the people around Australia who make public housing their passion.

Naomi embraced the concept and was inspired by the challenge to create more than just a good portrait.  She drew inspiration from her subjects and their surrounds to show a small piece of Australia's affordable housing story.

Shot on location around Australia and New Zealand the result is an ongoing portrait series of roughly 50 portraits that to date has been exhibited in Melbourne, Sydney Convention Centre, Parliament House in Canberra and Brisbane.

Another 20 portraits are soon to be added from a recent shoot in WA.
